Learn how to fish

In 2020, I had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman from Australia, a pastor affiliated with an Australian church. He was currently engaged in ministry in Kupang City. We struck up a friendship, bonding over our shared love for fishing.

As the years passed, circumstances led him and his family back to Australia. Before leaving, as a token of our friendship, he decided to gift me his fishing reel. I was thrilled at the prospect of using this cherished gift.

Eager to test out the fishing reel, I headed to a place called Pelabuhan Perikanan, a government-owned fisherman's harbor. After a patient wait and a few attempts, I successfully caught a baby GT. It turned out to be one of the most memorable and fulfilling experiences of my life.
