In August 2013, I had the incredible opportunity to attend my first live music concert featuring a legendary band from the US. The event took place at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, and I saw it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I couldn't miss. Excited about watching the performance, I made the decision to attend.
Finding a ticket for the concert proved to be a bit challenging, but I persisted in my search. Fortunately, I had a friend who knew where to buy concert tickets, and with their help, I finally secured a ticket. It was an awesome feeling knowing that I would get to watch my favorite band perform live.
As the band started playing their music, the atmosphere in the stadium became electrifying. People around me began jumping around, fully immersed in the music, and it was truly an amazing experience.
This concert marked my first time watching live music, and it was extra special because it involved a renowned band from the US—Metallica. The entire experience left a lasting impression on me, and I developed a newfound love for live music.
For me, this opportunity was something extraordinary—a chance that comes once in a lifetime. I believe that everyone should experience the magic of a live music concert at least once in their life. Each person has their chances, and whether they decide to seize those opportunities is entirely up to them.
Interestingly, the band had faced challenges in Jakarta back in 1993 when they attempted to hold a concert. Due to chaos caused by some individuals at that time, the Indonesian government forbade the band from performing in Indonesia. However, after 20 years, they finally got a chance to return to Jakarta and put on a concert that was truly memorable.
